SQLite Browser Pro — Privacy Policy

SQLite Browser Pro (the "extension") lets you open and query local SQLite database files entirely in your browser. This page explains the limited data we collect and what we do with it.

What stays on your device

• Every .sqlite / .sqlite3 / .db file you drop on the extension is parsed locally with a WebAssembly build of SQLite. The database contents, schema, query text, and results never leave your computer.
• Free-tier preferences and the cached Pro flag are stored in the browser's own storage (chrome.storage.sync).

What we collect, only if you sign in

Sign In is optional and is only used to unlock Pro features after a one-time purchase. If you sign in:

• Google account email. We receive your email address from Google's userinfo endpoint using the userinfo.email scope you granted when clicking Sign In. We do not receive your name, photo, contact list, or any other Google profile field.
• Pro entitlement record. Upon a successful Stripe purchase, we write a Firestore document keyed by a hash of your email. The document stores only: sqliteBrowserTier ("pro"), sqliteBrowserPurchasedAt (timestamp), stripeCustomerId, and the Stripe Checkout Session ID. No payment card information is stored or transmitted through our backend — Stripe handles that on their own domain.

What we never collect

• The contents of pages you visit.
• Browsing history, keystrokes, mouse movements, or other activity telemetry.
• Your location or IP address (beyond what your browser sends to Firebase / Stripe as part of normal HTTPS requests, neither of which we persist).
• Any database file contents, schema, queries, or query results.

Third parties

• Google Identity — we use Chrome's chrome.identity API to obtain a short-lived OAuth access token. Google's privacy policy applies to that transaction.
• Firebase (Google Cloud) — our backend endpoints run on Firebase Functions, and the entitlement record is stored in Firestore. Google acts as our sub-processor.
• Stripe — upgrade purchases are processed on Stripe-hosted Checkout. Stripe collects the email and payment method directly. We receive only a success signal and an opaque customer ID via webhook.

Data sharing, selling, or advertising

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data. We do not use it for advertising, cross-context behavioral profiling, creditworthiness, or any purpose unrelated to verifying a user's Pro entitlement.

Retention and deletion

We retain the Pro entitlement record for as long as your Chrome Web Store account is active, so a reinstall on the same Google profile preserves your unlock. You can request deletion of your record by emailing support@futureflowapp.com from the same Google address; we will remove the corresponding Firestore document within seven days. Stripe's own retention policy applies to the transaction history on their side.

Children

SQLite Browser Pro is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how it's used, we will update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes affecting existing users will be surfaced in the extension.
