Terms of Service

Last Updated: January 27, 2026

By using the TradingView Watchlist Sync extension ("the Software"), you agree to the following terms. This is a legal agreement between you ("User") and the Developer.

IMPORTANT: This software is for informational purposes only. The Developer makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of the data. You agree that you are solely responsible for verifying all data with your brokerage before trading. The Developer shall not be liable for any trading losses incurred.

1. Scope of Service & Read-Only Access

The Software is a read-only synchronization utility. It facilitates the transfer of ticker symbols between financial brokerage platforms and TradingView. The Software does not have the technical capability to execute trades, move funds, modify account settings, or access private financial records.

2. No Investment Advice

The Software is a data-syncing utility only. No part of the Software or its output constitutes investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Syncing a watchlist is not an endorsement or recommendation to buy or sell any security.

3. Accuracy of Data & Mapping

Financial markets move rapidly. Ticker symbols can be ambiguous or vary across platforms. You acknowledge that the Developer is not responsible for mapping errors that result in the wrong ticker being synced or displayed.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any financial losses, trading mistakes, or "fat-finger" errors. You use this Software at your own risk. You are solely responsible for verifying the correctness of any symbol before initiating a transaction on any exchange.

5. Third-Party Account Risks

The Software relies on third-party interfaces (Charles Schwab, Robinhood, TradingView). Use of this Software may violate the "No Automation" or "No Scraping" policies of those platforms. The Developer is not responsible for any account restrictions or bans imposed by third-party platforms.

6. Data Privacy & Credential Security

Credential Isolation: For brokerages requiring a content scan (e.g., Robinhood), the Software relies entirely on your pre-existing, independent browser session. The Software does not see, capture, or store your login credentials, passwords, or two-factor authentication codes. You must be logged into the brokerage website independently for the scan to function.

7. Use of Anonymous Analytics

We collect anonymous usage data (e.g., "Scan Button Clicked") to improve performance. No individual trading positions or portfolio compositions are tied to your personal identity in our analytics dashboard.

8. Payments, Subscriptions & Beta Periods

9. Acceptance of Terms

By checking the "I Agree" box and continuing to use the Software, you represent that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service.
